Shopping spree anyone?

When life hands you exams, you go shopping as a totally legitimate excuse to procrastinate. 

So, as another mid-exam treat to myself (and the last for a while, might I add....) my friends coerced me into another huge money drain of a day and invited me to my first ever visit to the Trafford Centre, Manchester. 

(Isn't it just wonderful??)

And boy, did I enjoy myself. Not only is the Trafford centre home to more shops than I could ever hope to visit in one day, but it also has a humongous food course, which of course is where we stopped off first. After about fifteen minutes deliberating, we ended up in Nandos where my life was made.

That meal seriously filled me up for the entire day, providing the perfect set up for out five hour shopping spree, which commenced shortly after! 

After hours of wondering around the whole area, I finally managed to buy two items, both of which I am super psyched about.

And here they are (sorry about the messy floor):

Aren't they just wonderful? The play playsuit (left) was from New Look and with student discount was only £26! As my first ever jump suit, I was a little nervous when buying, but with the sheek fabric and excellent cut, the jumpsuit nicely rolls over and 'squidgey bits', emphasising only your waist line and cleavage (I mean have you seen how low cut it is???) 

For the second piece, it was discovered in the sale section of Miss Selfridges (oneofmyfavouriteshopsofalltime!!!) and is a little black and white polkadoy blouse. Although the top is marked for petite, and I am definitely not part of that category, I feel this little blouse works as either a cute crop top or just to tuck in to high waisted skirts (which will be seen in my next post ;)) 

And finally, to finish up our perfect mid-exam break, we came outside to find the sun still lighting up the sky at 7:30pm. Oh summer, how I love thee so~

Wall Post?~

[In Progress :D]

Hi again! 

So today, as you can probably tell from my 'witty' title and photo, I'm just going to run you all by what I did for my wall in my new home in Manchester (can you believe I finally own my own property?? Kind of... :D)!

As you've probably realised, most teens tend to, rather obsessively, paste as many posters and tickets and other such life memorabilia over their walls as they possibly can, which, I must admit, I myself am also prone to. However, having never really found a poster that I have loved enough to actually buy and then face every day, I decided to put my ex-textiles knowledge to hand and create my very own mood board for my room :D (A room board....? Oh the joys of terrible puns...)

So, a few cups of tea and many handfuls of biscuits later, I finally finished my master piece :)

My Nerves, My Poor Nerves!!~

So, this is a month out of date, BUT on the plus side, my last post wasn't too long ago so not too bad? 

Well in any case, this is a blog about the showing of Pride and Prejudice in the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park, London. 

And all I can say is that it was totally amazing! Truly, a brilliant experience! From beautiful weather, creating the perfect summer atmosphere to the timeless story, it was truly an evening of one perfection after another! 

The actors were truly brilliant and you could really tell that everyone enjoyed their role and the story that they were portraying! And what's more, the audience seemed to adore it! 

Of course my favourite rendition of Pride and Prejudice shall always be the BBC series (1995), with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle because, come one, Coline Firth coming out of the lake is possibly one of my 'squeal moment' of all time, however Jennifer Kirby and David Oakes do a pretty good job, considering the humongous pressure on them!


Overall I thought the cast did a great job of portraying this classic in such a difficult environment, my favourite actor by far however was definitely Jane Asher, who played Lady Catherine de Bourgh. It was truly an honour to see her live in such a wonderful role! It was a perfect summer evening in London :)

Traipsing Camden~

[Camden Markets, London]

Yes!! Another blog! And only 2 days after the first! I am getting better :D 

If you are as obsessed with shopping as me, you should know that one of the best places to get any sort of item would be the markets. My new favourite shopping arena (other than Primark...) has got to be the wonderful world of Camden. You see, Camden, unlike Primark, is great for sourcing deals and, if you happen to be an expert haggler, then knocking down prices shouldn't be too difficult! (alternatively, find a local Londoner to help you ;) )

  From quirky to cute, Camden has everything you need and more at reasonable prices whilst really engulfing you with the real atmosphere of London with the cobbled streets and streetwise market stalls, there really is nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Ja!! Ein neue Blog! Und nur 2 Tage spater! Ich bin besser :D

Wenn du, wie ich, ein Shopaholic auch sein bist, du solltest wissen, dass Markte am besten sind, fur einkaufen. Meine neue Lieblingsmarkt (die nicht Primark ist...) musste Camden sein. Camden hatte viele sache und, wenn man ein bisschen klug sein ist, kann man die Kleidungen mit einer weniger Preis bekommen!

Von komisch zu Suss, Camden hat alle und ist auch zeimlich billig. Gleichzeitig, gebt Camden die atmospha:re von London, mit die kleine Strasse und alle die Markte. Wirklich, gibt es nicht eine besser                                                            activita:t fu:r eine Sonntag Abend.

Summer Baking!~

[Home made cookies!]

Hello there again! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I'm still getting used to blogging. :)
So as you may or may not know, it is officially British Summer Time in England and, as a way to celebrate my favourite season, my friend and I decided to bake some cookies!

Now ordinarily, baking cookies would not be such a huge deal, but seeing as the last time I attempted to make cookies turned out to be more than a disaster, we decided to make a whole day of it. 

The recipe was fairly simply. Ingredients shown below:

It was very very fun and I enjoyed the experience very much! :D The cookies were very quick and simple to make and although my main job was cutting chocolate into chip sized chunks, I still feel very proud of the cookies we made. :)

Hallo liebe Leute! Entschuldigung, dass ich so spat bin, ich bin jetzt sehr beschaftig! 
Also, im moment, ist es Sommer und, um mein Lieblingssaison zu feiern!

Normalerweise, ist kuchen nicht zu schwer, aber für mich, ist es ganz schwer!

Die Rezept war ganz einfach und es macht viel spass! Die kuchen war einfach und schnell zu machen, und, obwohl meistens ich nur die Schokolade schnitten hatte, fühle ich mir noch Stolz. :)

Also, jetzt, bin ich fertig und so tschuss!
